Handover is not a photo with keys. Pixel looks under the cabinet.

Everything shines in the photo. Pixel checks the drawer opens before someone starts living inside a presentation.

PIXEL / LEAD DESIGNERA STUDIO STORY

Pixel checks a cabinet hinge with a torch in a finished living room while clients hold their folder and keys

At handover the client took out a phone, the contractors fixed their hair and Pixel crawled under a cabinet. The photo had to wait. He found a missing cover, a misaligned front and Tonic’s ball. The first two joined the snag list. The third returned to the recreation department.

First we check. Then we admire.

Handover follows our scope and agreements with contractors. We compare the result with current documentation, inspect finishes and check accessible functions: opening, closing, circulation and access to equipment. A beautiful front should not conceal a drawer at war with the neighbouring handle.

This does not replace required technical inspections or checks by appropriately qualified professionals. Pixel has an excellent nose, but does not sign electrical inspection reports. Especially since we established that a paw print is not a qualification certificate.

A snag needs an address.

Each issue gets a location, description, photo, responsible person and agreed date for checking the correction. We separate defects from new wishes. Adding a second dressing room does not become handover work simply because the idea arrived on handover day.

The list stays with the project in arkeeno rather than disappearing between the key photo and family congratulations. After corrections we revisit the points and record the outcome. “He says it is done” is information to verify, not automatic closure. Pixel says he did not bark at the courier. The recording disagrees.

The home stays. So does the documentation.

Clients receive an organised folder: current drawings within the agreed scope, selected product details, care instructions, available warranty information and useful aftercare contacts. Plus any open items. Not just a link to a folder called “final_new_2”.

After an agreed period we ask how the home works in everyday life. Is the lighting comfortable? Has the storage passed its test? Only then do we ask for a review or referral, without pressure or a sad-dog performance. Pixel is brilliant at those. We agreed recommendations should come from good work, not acting talent.
