A Doghouse with Class. Not Every Roof Has to be Slanted.

A lime roof, a cobalt bowl, and a client who approves designs with their nose. A canine mansion without the mortgage.

PIXEL / LEAD DESIGNERA STUDIO STORY

Pixelated white doghouse with a lime roof and a Jack Russell at the entrance

The brief was short: comfortable, garden view, and room for a favorite stick. Pixel added one more thing: no compromises on nap time. That’s how Buda Forma was born — the most compact project in our portfolio.

Tenant First. Structure Second.

We started with observations: where our client likes to lie, which way they look, and how they spin before sleep. Three spins to the left isn’t a whim. At our studio, we call it functional analysis.

The entrance, rest area, and a shaded garden spot form a simple layout. The roof looks impressive but doesn’t block what matters: the resident should enter, turn, and lie down freely. The render shouldn’t be more comfortable than reality.

The Bowl is Part of the Design.

The cobalt bowl got its own spot by the entrance. Not in the middle of the hallway or where the designer had a blank space on the visualization. In Pixel’s world, water management starts with making sure nobody steps in breakfast.

The lime roof is our little joke on serious architecture. Simple form, bold color, zero pillars. The client asked for prestige. We decided prestige doesn’t have to look like a village mayor’s palace.

Four-Legged Handover.

Pixel walked in, sniffed the corner, and fell asleep. The handover protocol: no comments, please do not disturb. We had of course already checked the craftsmanship, weather conditions, maintenance, and the specific needs of the animal.

This doghouse is an illustration of an idea, not a construction manual or a suggestion for keeping dogs outside permanently. Even the prettiest house can’t replace care and quality time. Even if it has a roof the color of a premium treat.
